The annual Edinburgh Festival Carnival takes place every July at the start of the Jazz Festival in Princes Street Gardens.
750 local and international artists will parade and perform throughout West Princes Street Gardens with performances from local and international cultural groups, performers and bands.
Performances include:
- KalentuRa Drums (the Netherlands)
- The Spirit of Montserrat (the Caribbean)
- Edinburgh Chinese Art & Culture Community
- Soca from Tropical Storm
- Samba from Ilê Aiyê
- Latin American salsa showcase by The Latina Turners

3.30PM Ross Bandstand: Exhilarating samba from Brazil’s Ilê Aiyê
4PM Parade: Local, national and international community groups perform as part of The World in One City
5PM Ross Bandstand: Infectious rhythms and salsa beats from Latina Turners
There will also be performances from local, national international artists across the Drum Zone and Dance Stage from 12.30pm to 5pm.
